Plans for the 2006 Republic Of Texas Biker Rally are well under way. It’ll be held once again at the Travis County Expo Center on the east edge of Austin.

For the 12th consecutive year, it’ll be the largest motorcycle rally of any kind in the Lone Star State. This past June, we documented 31,000 bikers who attended the ROT Rally, thus making it far-and-away the largest biker rally in the all-time history of Texas.

The 2006 ROT Rally is likely to be bigger still. Don't show up late for the ROT Rally because on Thursday night, David Allan Coe will start the ROT Rally off in style! Praised by Country Music Magazine as "..one of the most singularly fascinating and enigmatic figures to carve a niche in ‘70s and ‘80s country music," David Allan Coe continues to cut his own bold and singular path through the world of popular music.
And, of course, we’ll also have the usual forms of entertainment and competition such as a poker run, bike show, local bands on an outdoor stage, motorcycle stunt riders, and more than 350 vendors selling all sorts of things.
